Andrew qualified as an architect in 1981 beginning his career at Prudential Assurance working on a number of significant buildings within their pension fund portfolio, including the redevelopment of Prudential’s own headquarters in Holborn.

He set up TateHindle in 1992 together with James Hindle, concentrating initially on commercial and residential schemes within central London.

The passion Andrew has for high-quality design in both new build and refurbished schemes impresses clients nationwide. He continues to forge new relationships whilst embracing the challenges of a dynamic and ever changing architectural landscape.

Andrew is a keen cyclist and has organised the annual Genoa to Cannes Cycle to MIPIM for the last nine years.

Andrew has converted a water tower near Amersham into his family home, which has featured on Channel 4′s ‘Grand Designs’.

As Design Director, Mike leads the Design Group and the internal design review process within the office, working with teams to create innovative and sustainable buildings that respond to and enhance their surroundings.

Passionate about good design and its ability to enrich and transform lives, Mike’s hands-on approach to projects ensures an inclusive dialogue between client and design team. Creating a strong working relationship from the outset, Mike organises projects in a systematic and efficient manner to ensure that designs meet and exceed our clients’ objectives.

Mike has particular expertise in the design and delivery of commercial offices, residential and mixed-use developments, and in masterplanning. Recent projects include the award-winning Great Kneighton housing development, Beaulieu Park, New Fetter Place and Millbrook Park.

Mike is chair of the RIBA East London Architects’ Group, member of the RIBA London Regional Council and RIBA Housing Group, and a student mentor for the University of East London. He also participates in open studios during annual events such as the London Festival of Architecture, presenting key projects to the public.

Mike is regularly invited to assess awards – most recently for the Civic Trust and the RIBA (West London chair) – and is a member of the Essex Quality Design Review Panel.

Sarah joined TateHindle in 1997 and has worked across all areas of the practice. She has particular expertise in commercial refurbishment and corporate fit-out projects and is passionate about achieving high-quality design solutions.

Sarah has designed refurbishment schemes for a number of heritage buildings in London. She enjoys sensitively restoring neglected buildings to their former grandeur; celebrating existing historical features whilst simultaneously introducing stylish modern additions to deliver an eclectic blend of old and new.

Sarah's enthusiasm inspires her team and her clients, helping them to achieve their objectives.

Harish joined TateHindle in 2001 and became a Director in 2015. He works across all areas of the practice and many of his projects are with repeat clients who appreciate his 'hands on' approach.

He recently completed the Gagosian Gallery in Mayfair for Grosvenor Britain & Ireland. The scheme transformed what was a tired 1960s office block into a contemporary building suitable for a world-renowned art gallery. Other projects include high-end residential schemes in London for The Crown Estate, Alchemi Group and Angelo, Gordon & Co.
